And if you could change your name to whatever you'd like, what would it be?
Edit: Btw mines Kristin Ann

Date: 2007-11-04 01:17 am (UTC)i thought about switching my name around many times, but i never did. i will likely just leave it the way it is. it isn't that bad, i suppose.

Date: 2007-11-04 01:22 am (UTC)Although my first name is pretty common, I don't think I would change it. And while I don't particularly like my middle name, it's after my great-grandmother so I wouldn't change that one either.

Date: 2007-11-04 01:28 am (UTC)I love that I can go by Kate and Katie, but I don't really like Kaitlin. I think it's the best spelling (haha), but it's way too popular
I'd never change my name, but if I had to go into the witness protection program or something I'd change it to Adrienne Elizabeth. It was on my parent's short list and I've always really liked it. I'm planning on using it for a kid.

Date: 2007-11-04 01:30 am (UTC)I HATE Melissa -so generic especially considering my maiden name was Jones! So, I ususally go by MJ, but of course since the Spiderman movies made MJ mainstream that's generic too now!
I have no idea what I'd rather be, but definately something not so generic!

Date: 2007-11-04 01:34 am (UTC)I don't mind my name. I don't overly love it but I don't hate it either. I really like that I was named after my grandmother.
My middle name is my Mom's maiden name. I used to pretend I hated it but now I kind of like that it's really unique and no one else has it cuz it's not like it's my first name or anything. I like how my parents stuck with a family name.

Date: 2007-11-04 01:40 am (UTC)I wouldn't change my name without a good reason. When I was little I always wanted to change it. Now I'm so used to it, I couldn't imagine being something else. In case of witness protection program or something that forced me, I'd probably be Normandy Anne. Ann is a family name that I really like. Normandy is a name that I like because of it's historical reference. I really love the "ee" ending on my name, so I'd get to keep that.

Date: 2007-11-04 02:02 am (UTC)I wouldn't change it, though I did go through a period where I wanted to go by Christine.

Date: 2007-11-04 02:20 am (UTC)i suppose i wouldn't change it-- BUT i wish i had gone by Jenna throughout school, rather than be one out of 13849238743289 Jen/Jenn/Jenny/Jennies lol

Date: 2007-11-04 02:22 am (UTC)The middle name is after my great grandma whom I loved. However, I have always wanted to change my name. I never would, but its something I've always thought about. When I was in HS I went through a phase when I wanted to change my name to James:)
If I were to change it today, it would probably be one of my top girl names like Rowen, Morrow, or Harper.

Date: 2007-11-04 02:38 am (UTC)And there's no way in the world I'd change my name. I never ever run into any Samaria's, let alone Sari's, and it's so unique (and from what I hear, exotic) that I never come across any others. When i was younger I hated it, since no one could seem to pronounce it correctly, calling me "suh-MAIR-ree-uh", "suh-mau-ruh", or "suh-meer-ruh" instead of "suh-MAU-ree-uh", but I've come to like it and enjoy the numerous nicknames that spring out of it.

Date: 2007-11-04 02:38 am (UTC)I like my name, actually. I used to want to change it to Jasmine (when I was 6; I liked Aladdin) and Julianna when I was a teenager (after Julianna Margulies, who played Carol on ER).
I love Audrey and Lucy!

Date: 2007-11-04 03:00 am (UTC)I love my name but if I HAD to change mine, I'd pick Audrey as well. I wanted to name our baby that but my husband hates the name.

Date: 2007-11-04 04:08 am (UTC)I wasn't all that fond of my name when I was younger, but it's definitely grown on me. I can't really imagine being called something else, but being an Elizabeth would be easier considering that I go by Beth and that I always seem to get called Brittany instead of Bethany. :/

Date: 2007-11-04 04:19 am (UTC)At this point, I definitely wouldn't change it...it fits too well. I like that I was named for someone (a great-grandmother), and I actually get a lot of people who tell me how great a name it is. Thank god my mom had good taste, because my dad certainly didn't! lol.
