[identity profile] sheshellabella.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
I've been having crazy dreams where futuristic me is pregnant. I was quite sexy (this coming from a girl who doesn't like the way she looks), might I add! Said dreams have been fueling me to come up with new baby names. Be forewarned though, some are repeated from older lists and the list is going to be longish.
PS - I'm including my boyfriends last name. It's Rutland!

Harper is definitely Masculine to me because I know a boy with the last name Harper.

I cannot for the life of me imagine it on a girl at all.

i love Elliot on a girl. i love it on a boy, too, though. it's one of the few names i really can't pinpoint which sex i like it on better!

i like Reagan on a girl more than a boy.

i like Topher as your nn for Christopher, that whole name is nice, Christopher Jackson.

loveeeeeee Felicity.

Oh, and I'm sorry if this comment seemed short or rude or anything, I just knew it was going to be really long. I didn't want to write a long paragraph on every name describing it's high and low points. I really try to be polite and accepting, I swear. If you want any specific feelings on a specific name, just ask and I'll elaborate...or something. I just feel guilty about being short. Haha.

Well, I'm a big family name fan, so I can understand that. I actually think the reason I dislike Bonnie is because I have a lab teacher (I use that term loosely) this semester with that name. She is...annoying, to say the least. Anytime someone asks her a question over material she says "Use your imagination!" because she has no clue what she's teaching. So, that name will be forever tainted for me. Rawr.

Molly Teagan nn Lee (Molly is a family name) (g)
Henry Jackson nn Jack (b) or Jackson Henry
Oliver Neil (b) or Neil Oliver
Christopher Jackson nn Topher Chris or Jack (b)

Abigail Hope nn Abbie (g)

I have mixed feelings on the whole nickname derived from a middle name thing. Usually I'd say to just switch the names around. In most cases it still works very well. It's just seems unneccessary to use a middle name as your first name from the get go.

My friend Ross is actually a Christopher Ross and chose to go by Ross when he got older. If Elliot decided to go by Jack when he got into middle school I'd understand but it might just be a hassle to have to be explained to that Jack's real name is actually Elliot and Jack is just a nickname from his middle name.

Then again, I love the name Isaias Tobias with the nn Toby so I can't really talk. =P

I love how you have a whole long list of names to chose from. I decided on Peyton the week i found out i was pregnant and it has just kinda stuck with me the whole time. But now i want to re-think my names. I Love the nn Charlie for a girl, but my best friend is using that AS her girls real name, so thats out. I'm kinda more of a nn person myself anyway. But these are the ones i like from your list.

Elliot Wynn nn Wynnie or Ellie (g) - not a bigg fan of Elliot, but i've never heard it on a girl and i think its ADORABLE for a girl.
Finley Grace nn Gracie (g) - Finley? thats cuute, I would call her Finny. =] im just like that though
Reagan Leigh nn Rea pron Ray (g)- I like this.
Jackson Scout nn Jack (b)
Bonnie Rene (g)- Dont know why, but i do. =]
Anna Parker (g)- Parker... awwwwwwwwww
Aiden James (b)- I LOVE THIS NAME. i want a boyyy. =[
Christopher Jackson nn Topher or Jack (b)- I really like the name topher, i was never a fan of the "christopher" crowd bc my school had maybe a thousand of them.
Charles Rhys nn Charlie (b) - My friends naming her baby Charlie Ryan. Its a girl.
Dilan (WELSH! Pron like Dylan but seen as a feminine name) Liberty nn Libby (g)- I LOOOOVE Liberty.
Maddox Gray (b)- this one caught my eye first and thats what made me read your post. I love this one, i kinda like it for a girl too? Is that weird?
Abigail Hope nn Abbie (g)- I went through my "hope" stage, but i really dont like it now. I love Abbie for a nn though.
