It seems too formal for a little girl, though, and I don't like the nickname Judy. I do love Judith, though.

I don't like Judy either. That's my main block on Judith. I wouldn't want her EVER to be called Judy.

I have thought a bit about using it as a middle name because I love Judith Light and Who's The Boss? is a huge love of mine. I heard Tony Danza call Judith Light "Ju" once, and I liked that nickname. I also like the possible nickname of Jude.

I love it but I may be biased as I know a fantastic woman who goes by Judy. She's one of the most intelligent, down to earth people I've ever met.

haha i just commented on someones post about the name jude being a boys or girls name. i know a couple of women named judith who go exclusively by jude. its not a name i would ever use, but its nice in that classical sense.

My old, mean, uptight, ugly camp director is named Judith, so bad associations. I didn't like it before I met her, either, though.

There's something very cute about Judy, but Judith always brings to mind Judith Light, and she kind of scares me.
