The DF and I always have problems with Boy names. (Probably because I don't like "boring" boy names and he doesn't like "unusual" boy names.) But we finally agreed on one:

Henry

I love it, he loves it, all is good, right? Well, not really. Cause what goes with Henry?

We were thinking Henry Graham, but my friend says it sounds like a little old man and she kind of has a point. What would you put with Henry? (Please no J names, as our last name is J and we aren't big fans of alliteration... or consanince... I always mix those two up.)

Thanks in advance!

I think Henry Graham is really cute, and it doesn't have to sound like an old man name. Henry is adorable, and there are the possibilities nicknames like Hank, Harry, Huck, etc., none of which are really common.

Anyway, I like it a lot:)

Other ideas:
Henry Patrick
Henry Reid
Henry Gareth
Henry Grant
Henry Warren
Henry Peter
Henry Philip
Henry Callum
Henry Malcolm

I like Henry Graham a lot, like I said. Of the ones I suggested, I think Henry Philip, Henry Gareth, and Henry Warren are my favorites.

Henry Graham doesn't sound like an old man name to me. More like a British movie star... :)

I like that too. Although it sounds a bit better Oliver Henry to me.

Henry is my absolute FAVourite boys name.
I used to love the combination Henry Oliver, and I mentioned it to my friends, and they like it better Henry first. They say Oliver Henry sounds too final, and like there isn't enough room for a last name.
I really cannot express my love for this name!

Henry Finn
Henry Alexander

I LOVE Henry.
I'm not such a big fan of Graham though. It sounds old to me cause it was my grandad's name!

Something from your family is what I'd go for. If he were mine, I think he'd be Henry William.

henry is fabulous! i LOVE it! you must have some family name somewhere that you would like to use. personally, i would probably use henry gray, because that is my late mothers maiden name, but surely you must have some fathers or grandfathers or someone you would like to honor!? :)

i agree with another poster who said henry william was nice.

BTW - Alliteration is the same letter ...eg Justin James

Assonance is two SOUNDS that are the same...eg Braden Caden [ew lol]

It does sound a little old-man-ish.

If Graham is a name that is special to you, you could still use a altered version, eg Henry Gray

I think with a more traditional name like Henry you need a somewhat alternative name to balance it out. Some off the top of my head:

Henry Dorian
Henry Zeb
Henry Malachi
Henry Lucas
Henry Asher
Henry Tate

I love Henry Graham. It doesn't make me think of an old man at all.

What about:

Henry Emmett
Henry Fletcher
Henry Duncan
Henry Vaughn
Henry Elliott
Henry Lucas
Henry Everett

I like Henry! Not really a name I would use, but I think it's really cute.

I'm not big on the name Graham, but I don't think Henry Graham sounds like an old man's name either.

I agree with a lot of the names suggested already! I like it with Warren, Owen and Lucas. I also think it sounds nice with Alexander and Xavier.

You mean alliteration ;) Consonance means two names (in this case) sound the same ;)

Anyway...
Henry Thomas
Henry Lucas
Henry Nathan
Henry Laurence
Henry William
Henry Martin
Henry Adrian

Good luck! I think Henry Graham sounds really cute too, but I have to admit it sounds a little old man-ish to me too.
