Quick note:

I can't control Icons. And I don't want it to get to a point that calls for me to intervene. It's just an icon, don't look if it offends you. I didn't like the one in question either..but it was remarkably easy to avert my eyes. However, I will request that everyone please try to use something 'work safe'. I know I look at my friends list at work, I'm sure others do as well. For now, I don't see the need to delete valid posts over something as trivial as an icon, but I am requesting we all use a little bit of consideration when posting in a public community.

Edit: Pissing me off will get you banned. I understand this probably sounds harsh, but I don't want drama prone people here. Period.

I think people were mainly irked because of the nature of this community. But I wouldn't for a moment think it should be deleted; at any rate people have the right to use whatever icons they want.

What really irks me is everyone that makes a big deal out of it being gross. Shockingly people who aren't thin have sex too. Why, even me! I don't think people would be half as offended it it was a skinny ass bouncing around. Not having a 'skinny ass' and all, I find everyone making a big deal out of it really condescending.

Hey, I dont want to see anyone having sex, especially from that angle. How is it condescending to not want to see someone's ass? I dont wanna see a skinny ass either. I prefer my days to be ass free, especially bouncing around ass free. No one really made a big deal about it anyways. People comment on icons all the time. A few people simply said it was gross. And Im allowed to think its gross.

1- It (icon) wasn't appropriate for this type of community, but, the icon police have no right to say who can use what where.

2- Some people have no tact or common courtesy for those who LJ at work, school, etc.

3- Yes, fat ppl (myself included) have sex AND MAKE BABIES who require naming. I just hope my ass doesn't look that hideous when I'm getting it on. Or any other time for that matter.

Someones having a bad day. :( They cant seem to tell that my original two comments were being silly. I guess they take people making opinions about icons waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously. Since they hate the internet so much, they shouldnt be on it so much. Cheers!

There's always the option of "use the community icon" when viewing. I think that would solve your "not work safe" worries.

It's not a matter of just averting my eyes. I'm not prude or personally offended by sexual references etc. but I'm most frequently online in a professional setting where others can see my monitor. I just can't have stuff like that on my friends page. Period. I never would've expected a sexually explicit icon in a community like this. (The issue of obesity and sex or where babies in fact come from is FAR from the point.)

I removed the community from my friends page and will only post here when I can load the community directly in a private setting. Problem solved from my end anyway. I am disappointed it has to be that way though. :(

True, and a good suggestion. I adore icons though (have well over 200 myself), so it would kinda of suck to miss everyone else's in all my communities just because of few inconsiderate folks.
