How do you pronounce Alicia? I like the spelling, but I've heard people pronounce it differently, and I can't make up my mind if I like it, or not, until I find out how people pronounce it.

EDIT: Thanks for the replies everyone! Although I was really hoping one of you would say you pronounced it  A-LISS-ee-ah, as I'm sure I once met a girl called this, and I assumed that would be how you spelt it.
However, it was a while ago, and so I might be remembering wrong and her name might have been Alyssa/Alissa after all. 
Which brings me on to - yes, I am aware that Alyssa/Alissa are different names pronunciation-wise to Alicia!

I prefer Alissa/Alyssa (though the first spelling is my favourite). There are fewer chances of saying this wrong (I have, however, heard both A-liss-a and A-lees-a if that makes sense).

Alicia to me is an entirely different name than Alissa or Alyssa. I really dislike Alyssa/Alissa, but Alicia is one of my favourite names. I pronounce it a-lee-shia (it sounds like a-lee-sha really, but there's still the -ee sound in the end.)

It's A-lees-see-ah. The correct way, anyway. Other people pronounce it the same way as Alisha because they don't seem to get that it's a Spanish name with a completely different pronunciation; I think a lot of people assume it's just an alternative spelling of Alisha.
