[identity profile] eilithyia.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
Hello! I'm new to this community, and I have a question. My husband and I just found out we are having a daughter. We have 2 sons together, and girls do not run in his family. This is really emotional for me, my mom died when I was 19. I never thought I'd get another chance at a mother/daughter relationship again.

I have always loved the name Elizabeth Anne...oddly this is a name my husband has always loved. For 10 years we always knew if we had a little girl, this would be her name. We never thought too much about it, because we never figured a girl would be conceived...so here we are.

My question is...our last name starts with a T. Her initials would be E.A.T. We are worried she will be teased, or hate her name etc. When my mother was in a coma, I told her I would name my daughter after her. So I have decided to use my moms name Marie as her middle name.

I'm not sure how names are normally put together, and I'm not crazy about the 2 middle name thing. So, should we do...

ElizabethAnne Marie T

or

Elizabeth-Anne Marie T

Has anyone had any experiences with this situation? Which would you prefer? We plan on calling her Elizabeth, but we want Elizabeth Anne to be her first name, and middle name Marie. Her initials would be E.M.T. Any opinions? Am I freaking out to much over the initials?

Thanks!
