Anna - I don't know why, I just think it's simple and pretty.
Annabelle - My mother wanted to name me this and call me Anna. I love it.
Amelia - Amelia Sachs in the Lincoln Rhyme series! I love the name anyway, but the character is awesome.
Amalia - Just like the sound of it.
Aurora - Aurora Borealis.
Avery - I don't normally like boy's names for girls, but I like this one, especially paired with Elisabeth.
Alexandra - I think it's elegant-sounding.
Adele - I started loving this name after I saw Jane Eyre.
Addison - I liked this one when I heard it on a male character in an old movie (can't remember which one), and like it for either gender. Has nothing to do with Grey's Anatomy, though I like that Addison too!

Adrian - No real reason.
Alexander - One of those names that will never go out of style.
Addison - already went over this one :)
Aiken - Heard it as a last name and thought it would make a nice first or middle name.
Aidan - Even though it's common, I like it a lot. I think it's strong-sounding.

Girls:
Antigone - In Greek mythology, the daughter of Oedipus and Jocasta. Not a happy story, but a beautiful name.
Andromeda - It means "to be mindful of man" in Greek. So pretty.
Aoide - It's the name of the Greek muse of song. 'Nuff said.
Aoife - Legendary Celtic warrior princess. It means "beauty". And it is beautiful!
Ariadne - In Greek mythology, Ariadne helps Theseus escape the minotaur and then is abandoned by him. Sad, but such a lovely name.
Aislinn - Means "dream" or "vision" in Gaelic. I think it's one of the lovliest names in existence.
Aedre - I don't remember where I first heard this one, but it means "stream" in Anglo-Saxon, and it instantly became one of my favorites.
Audrey - Modernized form of an old Anglo-Saxon name that meant "noble power". So lovely. One of my absolute favorites.
Audra - Variant of Audrey. Has a different sound to it.
Aubrey - Taken from a Germanic name that means "power of the elves". I like the meaning and I think it's beautiful.
Aderyn - Means "bird" in Welsh. I think it's pretty, and I like the meaning. :o)
Ailis - Irish form of Alice, which is derived from an old Germanic name that means "noble kind". It sounds nicer than Alice, in my opinion.
Aria - Because I'm a musician. :o)
Aurelia - Feminine form of Aurelius, an old Latin name derived from the word for "golden". It has such a distict, pretty sound.
Aileen - This is the Celtic form of the Germanic name "Ava". I think it sounds beautiful.
Alix - Feminine form of Alex, short for Alexander, which means "defender of men". I picture a beautiful but strong woman when I hear this name.
Adrienne - Feminine form of Adrian. I think it's beautiful.

Boys:
Aodhan - This is the original spelling of Aidan, and I like it best. It's derived from "aodh", an old Irish word that means "fire".
Adair - Old English form of Edgar. Derived from words that mean "blessed with the spear". I just think it's cool because it's of Anglo-Saxon origin. :o)
Alistair - Scottish form of Alexander. I just love the sound of it. Scottish names are amazing.
Ahanu - Hawaiian form of Andrew. Sounds so cool!
Aubert - I first heard it in the book The Count of Monte Cristo and loved the way it sounded. It's the French form of Albert, which is derived from an old Germanic name meaning "bright, noble, famous".
Alan - Once again...old English name. I just like the way it sounds.
Aleron - Latin for "winged one". It sounds cool.
Athan - Greek for "immortal" or "eternal life". I LOVE the way it sounds.
Audric - French for "old and wise rule". Just sounds good!
Andrew - I've always liked the sound of this name, and the biblical connotations I guess.
Arthur - I am obsessed with Arthurian legend. Need I say more? :o)
Adrian - It's the anglicized form of Hadrian, which is one of my favorite names ever. I like the historical meaning, etc.
Alvin - Means "elf-friend" in Old English.

I really like Greek, Celtic/Gaelic, and Anglo-Saxon names (in case you couldn't tell, haha).
