My name is Samantha. I'm having a boy. I was thinking of naming him Samuel. I love the name. What do you all think? His middle name will be David.

I don't think it's tacky. Men name kids after themselves every single day. Nothing wrong with a mother as namesake.

i love it :) I kinda named my son after myself too...my name is Christian (yes i know its a boy name but thats what my parents gave me!) and I named my son Tristan :)

Samuel David is wonderful. David is my husband's middle name and we are passing it down to our son Benjamin when he's born next month.
