My name is Jessica and my SO's is Alessandro.
I started wondering about names that also contain -ess-.
So far, I've come up with Vanessa, which I don't like too much, and Cress, which I really like but I think is only used as a nickname for Crescent.

Any other ideas? :)

Bess (admittedly, generally a nickname)
Essie (again, I know, a nickname)
Tessa (ooh, I like)

That's...all I got, at the moment.

Esther. I looked it up to see if there was anything else it would work for and it suggested Estelle (ugh), but, by association, Estella (yay) would work, too, I suppose.

My daughter's name is Cressa, which is a variant of Cressida.

I know a Kressa (however I prefer Cressa) and I used to envy her name. I think it's beautiful.
