Not a huge fan of the name Christi....but I'd definitely prefer it spelt Kristy [I think this may be owing to the fact that she was a character in the baby sitters club...]

I don't really like the name Kayla, so i guess Jakayla is out for me.
At least it isn't Ja'Kayla or something freakish.

I associate Christi to Jesus Christ, I guess because it's "of Christ" in Latin.
So just to say it's male to me.
Kristi is feminine to me, it's also a proper german name.

How is Jakayla pronounced? I go for Jah-KY-lah, but I imagine it could be Jah-KAY-lah, as in Makayla (which btw I also read Mah-KY-lah)

And in my opinion the names clash together, and taste a bit like stripper

The names just don't fit together, to me. I'm not a fan of "created" names, so I'll spare you my comments on "Jakayla." "Christi" spelled like that = Corpus Christi, in my mind.
