I've heard of the name before this dream but now I like it more.

My sister's name is Tierney! Even though it is not usually something I'd go for (it's a last name AND pretty masculine) I can't help but love it because it's my sister's name. If you use it, just be prepared for people constantly pronouncing it wrong, or writing down her name as "Tyranny." Good times.

I love it! Tiernan and Tierney were on the short list for our second daughter. They have been moved to the next list for baby #3 (that maybe possibly will be along in a couple years.)
