E names

I came across "Ekaterina", which is a Russian form of "Catherine". I like it a lot, as long as it's said fast. What do you think of Evangeline? I knew of a girl named "Erielle". I like "Arielle" better.

Sorry I really don't like the look or sound of Ekaterina. Maybe just Katerina without the E? Evangline I really love though, especially with the nn Evie. Erielle is nice.

i've always like Ekaterina... i use to be really into gymnastics when i was younger, & a lot of Russian gymnasts seemed to be named that lol

I like Ekaterina...for Russians. It's one of those names that is distinctly "ethic" and I think it would sound wrong paired with something like, Smith or Johnson.

Evangeline I adore. It's gorgeous, and the kid could be called Evie for sort, which is one of my favorite nick-names.

Yes. It would be said quickly of course, just like "Catherine" has that "e" in the middle that's barely there.

Ekaterina makes me think of Ekaterina Gordeeva. I think it would have to have the right last name to make it work. Evangeline...I can't decide if I like it or not. Every time I hear it, I have to stop and think about it. It's just kind of meh for me. Personally, I prefer Evelyn, but Evangeline isn't that bad of a name.

Erielle, just....no. Arielle is MUCH better.

I prefer Katerina to Ekaterina, something about that extra syllable doesn't sound right to me. I don't like Evangeline. It rubs me the wrong way somehow.

and Erielle is just wrong. I prefer Arielle, but don't mind Ariel.

I know a girl named Ekaterina and she absolutely hates her name. I guess her grandparents were Russian, but she is American and thinks her name is ridiculous. She goes by Kat.
