At first I thought it sounds interesting, like a combination of Tom and Dominic,
but then I saw your phonetic spelling of it and realised it would sound like "Tom- ick!" like ew, too much teasing potential.

With that said.. what if I go with "Tom-eck" as the way to pronounce it. I agree about the Tom and Dominic combination, thats what I like about it.

I should have probably stuck with "Tom-ick". I just looked it up and apparently its the Czechoslovskian form of Thomas.

I was going to say, it resembled "Tomek," which is the Polish version...

However, in Polish, Tomek is a nickname; the full name is Tomas. Is Tomik also a nn?

Whatever pronunciation you say, kids are still going to pick up on the "ick" factor because that's how it's spelled and phonetically pronounced.
