Daedalus (or Dedalus) is the usual spelling. Did you want to add an extra D like this, or...?

Interesting, I always thought this was pronounced GUY-uh, to rhyme with Maya, Kaya, etc., but I checked dictionary.com and it gives both pronunciations (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=gaea) and spellings. With the phonetics of English, I would guess more people will say it with a hard G sound...
