Name Suggestions
Aug. 28th, 2007 12:07 pmWe are having a really hard time naming our baby boy. There is nothing we agree on and could use suggestions on names (typically not in baby books since we have gone through all of those). Our first son's name is Cannon James, so we are looking for something a little unusual or uncommon. It also needs to be a non-unisex name. Any ideas?
We had Grayson picked out, but I am hearing it on more girls than boys.

Songan- (SOHN-gahn) Native American "strong"
Ruston-Old English "from the red-haired one's estate" meaning is kinda blah, but you could get Rusty as a nn.

Date: 2007-08-28 10:17 pm (UTC)you've got to be pretty ignorant to name your daughter a name that's so blatantly masculine, don't you think?

Date: 2007-08-28 10:37 pm (UTC)I kept seeing Bronson while going through the comments, and I like that. Also, what about...
Walker
Brennan
Orion
Leo
I also saw Jett while going through the comments and while I'm not normally a huge fan of that name, I think it sounds okay with Cannon and if paired with a common middle name (like you did with Cannon), I think it'd be okay. And it's WAY better than Grayson.
