Some friends of mine in Alabama had a son on Aug 24th...they named him Colorado Blaze...they're calling him Blaze....

The more I think about Blaze, the more I like it but Colorado?? Especially since neither of the parents have any ties to Colorado or anything, it's "just a name they thought went well with Blaze"   Eh...

i don't think they work well together, because blaze is a word associated with fire and heat, and colorado is snowy and cold. =/

I don't like Colorado, but I adore Blaze. Probably because it was the name of a little boy in my class at the daycare where I worked a few years ago who was the cutest thing ever and who I absolutely adored. :-) At least they're not calling him Colorado! Of all the states to name your kid after...

well i'm in the minority here.

Colorado is *kinda* cool. I definitely wouldn't use it, and I don't automatically think "OMG AWESOME!" but I have to admit it's slightly rad. I do agree that it's weird they don't have any ties to the state though.

and I really like the name Blaze. I prefer it spelled Blaise though.

I love Blaze...but the full name does sound like a headline. Hopefully the kid doesn't get stuck in Colorado during a forest fire or something, HAHA.
