Hi! *waves* While I am not a mother (nor am I planning to be any time soon), I have always had a great love for names. When I was little, I used to love giving my dolls fifteen bazillion different names, and now that I'm older, I'm constantly making little lists of names that I think are cool. Right now, I'm going through a more of a traditional/Irish phase (though, in all honesty, a great deal of my list has been influenced by television). I'm also going through an alliterating-first-and-middle-name phase, too. ;)

I am 32 weeks pregnant (don't know the sex) and we finally came to a decision.

Eliza Michelle
Owen Andrew

I really loved Owen Daniel but that would give him the initials ODD, and I didn't want to risk it...lol

We also have a 3 year old boy named Jayden Joshua.

Jayden was not popular when I named him that...that kind of makes me mad.

Hi and welcome!
I really like the names on your list. I dont really have a "list" yet (it's in the making) but I love picking names :) I have 2 kids, my son is Tristan Alexander, and my daughter is Skylar Nichole. We're trying for baby #3 and can NOT agree on a name! My favorite girl name is a Japanese name meaning little dragon, it's Kaida. Japanese pronounce it Ky-Dah, but if we use it, we'll prounounce it Kay-dah.

I've loved baby names since I was around 12 and began posting on baby name message boards on AOL. I'm a month shy of 19 now, with no kids.

- Viviana (Vivi)

- Sophia (Or Sophie)

...There are more but I can't think off the top of my head.

Boys:
- Jack
- Owen
- Quinlan
- Lucas
- Hudson

Yeah I decided on Jaiden for a girl years ago. Now Jayden is popular but it's for boys. So that kind of ruins it for me. :(

I LOVE Anna Corinne. Amazing. Michaela (not Makayla) is one of my favourite names, too. Connor and Nathan are both lovely names!

Good call on the initials there, it could have been associated with just plain "odd" or "ODD- Oppositional Defiant Disorder," neither of which people want their children to be.

My husband's name is Andrew, so of course I am bound to like it. ;)

Julian is one of my favorites, and I like Lucas as well. I would never name my daughter Hayley, although I like the name when spelled Hailey for some reason.

xoxoxo Michelle

I know 3 little boys (Aiden, Jayden, and Noah) so I'm impartial to those 3 names especially because they are 3 adorable kids. They're getting to be pretty popularly. So by the time I have kids (years from now) maybe at least the popularity of Jayden will die down a bit.
