I have a quite a few My name is Taylee Rae so my family and a lot of other people just call me Tay (unless they're mad at me)Some others are Taylee Raelee, Potayto, Tater-tot or my mom likes to make it longer and call me tater-tot casserole,and Tay-Tay.

when i was a kid, my mom called me karenkins, and my dad called me tikeroo (or tike, tiker, tikerooni, tikeroonipoo, etc.). my older sister calls me "short one", despite the fact that i've been taller than her since my mid-teens. my best friend calls me loo, and various others have called me either KP or paulie.

My name is Katherine, and I get called Kate most of the time. I spell it Kayt, because I was twelve and annoying and one of six Kate/Katies in my class. My family also calls me Katie Beth, because they are from Oklahoma, and you can't not have two names around them. My mother is Margo Lee, I'm Katie Beth, my sister is Amy Meg (gag), and my dad is Brett Alan.

So, in high school, there was another Katherine Elizabeth in my friend group. They called her Foster (her last name), and I got called "Y", as in "Kate with a Y". Now that I'm older, I mainly go by Kayt, but some people from work call me Kaye. They can't figure out the difference between Kate and Katie. I can't stand being called Katie, so I tell them to call me Kaye instead.

My sister's name is Amelia Margaret. We called her Mimi when she was small because I couldn't pronounce Amelia. I'd get stuck on the "me" part, like, "A-memememememe". Her friends at school call her Aimes, or Emilio. The family calls her Me-la. When she was in kindergarten, she decided she hated Amelia, and started signing things with Maggie, from her middle name. She will never live it down.

Im Tara Lynn and i have some of the most random nicknames.
Family never called me anything but Tara except for my one aunt who called me Ta.
Then my friends in like 7th grade started calling me Tara elf and that lasted into hs but then i also got Tara-beara and then my friend changed it to T-lynn, and the most used by my ONE friend is also potato like you. dont ask how he got potato from tara lol but im assuming sorta the same way you got potato from taylee. hehe. he calls me it so often that when he went to seach for me on facebook he typed potato instead haha

Hi Tay!

Well, growing up, I went by my middle name, Fonta. In an effort to escape the Real World, I began playing online games and going by Alisa. I had the nickname Ali from people online, and eventually, as I met and became "real world" friends with many of them, I dropped Fonta and now only family and family friends call me Fonta.

I was born in Oklahoma, and raised in California. My high school bf was also Okie and had the two-name thing going on, so he'd call me Fonta Mae because he said it needed a Mae.

With the whole two name thing (as in Alisa McCoy and Fonta McCoy) some friends thought it funny that depending on my mood I was either AM or FM, thus started calling me Radio (also Dio, Rady and Ray).

My daughter Cadence goes by more names than God, so I won't list them all, but the most frequent are Cadie, Cadiebug, and Bugbutt (Grandpa's nickname for her)

I really like the name Amelia. I've sworn that if Mela gets cool again (she's 16. Need I explain?) I'm using Amelia as a middle name. It amuses me how popular it's getting. Mela's sixteen, and she was one of three kids in her whole school named Amelia. She hated it, of course. Now, it's getting more and more popular.

I'm Lindsay Rebecca, so mostly I get called Linds by my friends. My older brother calls me Lin, and my parents call me "Binz," which is what my brother called me when he was 2-1/2 and couldn't say Lindsay.

I also get "Shirley" from my mom's side of the family, because my aunt's best friend (who is practically another member of the family) is named Lynne, and it gets confusing. So I get called Shirley, since I was only about 6 months old when she "joined" the family and I didn't have much say in this.

I hate it when people make mangled versions of your name and call them nicknames. My mother's family is all from Oklahoma, so everyone has to have two names. Katherine Elizabeth becomes Katie Beth, which is bad enough, but my aunt actually calls my sister Amy Meg. Lindsay Becky is in the same boat, I daresay.

I'm Kathryn. My parents call me Kate or Katie, and I went by Katie until second grade, when I started going by Kathryn; in sixth grade my friends called me Kathryn/Kath and then in seventh grade, someone chopped off the 'h' and I became Kat.

I'll answer to just about anything, but I mostly get Kat, Kitty, Kittens, and Kit-Kat from my friends. In class I tell my teachers to call me Kathryn, but I look up the teacher calls just about any K name (after often being mistaken for a Katie/Kate/Kaitlyn/Kathlynn in previous grades).

Embarrassingly enough, my nickname since birth has been Lori-Pie (cuz I was so sweet). I'm 31 and I'm still a dessert, go figure. My friends call me Lawrence (and sing this silly song about Lawrence of Arabia). Im Brittany and I go by alotttt haha. I've had Britt, Bri, Bree-Wee, BritBrit, BritBritBananas (...yeahdon'task :P), when my sisters were really young they called me Bits, Bitsy, which eventually turned into Brits, and Britsy, and well.. Reptar. haha. There are a select few that actually call me that in real life. It's my myspace name, and now I've noticed that I can never really ever change it because too many people know which Britt's being talked about by "Reptar". oh it's bad :P

Unrealated to my name I got:
Afro or 'Fro or The 'Fro in school cause of my hair, and that stuck for a while. Not really by any of my close friends, but the boys I sat with on the bus!
Bob because my surname is Mortimer and my best friend's surname begins with R, and the boss thought it would be hilarious to call us Bob and Vic after Bob Mortimer and Vic Reeves. That was almost 6 years ago and I still occasionally get called Bob. & I quite like it, so I use it almost all of my screen names!
