He is dead set on the name Aolani Nicolette, I think it's pretty...And I am not set on this one just yet. It doesn't feel like the right one yet. But I have been looking at other names and I have come acorss these names too:
Noelani-beautiful gift from heaven(very appropriate)
Chloe-In mythology (and in boticellis venus) is Zephyris lover...
okalani-?
Michaela-feminine form of Michael, name of the angel Michael. (it can also be spelled makayla, etc...)
I am in favor more so, and so far, of the first two I listed... and of Michaela They all have beautiful meanings and they tie in well to my beloved step daughters name too...
Her name is Zephyr Michelle. We really want something unique and beautiful an odd/unusual name for the first name, and a good normal/business name for the middle name. However in my case I'd really like to extend and hyphenate the middle name to carry on a tradition of passing down my families names. So if I picked Noelani Michaela it would be Noelani Michaela-Elise/clara...
Either way...I picked up a book that goes beyond the meaning of the name into a study derived out of linguistics and some other hodge podge of reasoning that can tell you the sort of person you may be depending of what your name is. So far in the section for my name, my Fiance's, my best friends' a few people I work with it has been pretty accurate in describing all of us. On mine it even worked with my middle name, even though I don't use it often! So I really want her to have of course a good unique artistic name, but a strong business name too....
