I think I have finally decided on a name for my unborn son.

What do you all think of Vincent Peter? Peter is my father's name.

I dont like Vinnie either. My boyfriend likes Vinnie, but I wont call him that. I will call him Vince.

I like it as long as it doesn't get shortened.

There are so many names that I love but would never name my baby just for fear of it getting shortened to something I'd hate.

Of course, my brother-in-law's niece's name is Victoria and she's now 16 and it's never been shortened thanks to her parents keeping it that way.

lol yes that is true. My boyfriend is already pointing at my belly and calling him Vinnie. Oh well, it is the only name we have both liked and I can see myself naming him, I'm still happy with it.

Vincent is one of my favorite two boys names. Even though I'm not crazy about the name Peter, it sounds lovely with Vincent and I really like that you're using your father's name. Very refreshing choice. =)

Nice. Very nice. Vincent is not my style, but Vince is uber cool. :) All in all, it flows well and sounds awesome on a kid, and even better on an adult. Good choice!
