what do you think of the combos:

maddox jamison
addison grey
jackson cole
jackson cade
gregory quinn

heidi noelle
shawna noelle
kendel elise
kennedy elise
lillian grey
kinley grey
whitley sage
anabel sage
kinsey jane

none of them are my absolute favorites at all, i just thought they were interesting. i think they're basically middle names that could fit onto ANY name.

i've never watched grey's anatomy but isn't there a character on the show named addison? either way i think that addison grey is a terrible name, especially for a boy. i don't undertand kinley or kinsey either. they seem like they are shortened versions of a name.

I like Maddox but I feel like it needs a shorter middle name than Jamison. Maybe just James?
Addison Grey - sorry but that it WAYYY too greys anatomy...even though I love the show. And Addison is very trendy right now as a girls name so I don't see it on a boy at all.
I like Jackson Cole better than Cade
Gregory Quinn is nice.

Heidi Noelle. I love Noelle as a middle name
Shawna Noelle - sorry but I REALLY dislike Shawna. Probably because my name is Shanna (shan-nah) and gets mispronouced as Shawna a lot.
Kendel Elise is beeter than Kennedy Elise...but I like it spelt Kendall
Lillian is really nice. Kinley eh. But Im not ceazy about grey as a middle name at all.
Whitley is nms at all
Anabel is very pretty. And I like it with Sage
Kinsey - eh. I think there was a movie with this name btw.

My favorite Jackson Cole

Yeah, there used to be, but her last name wasn't Grey, if that makes a difference or not.

I first heard "Addison" as a man's name in a movie - I can't remember which, but it was older than me - so to me it's unisex and I really like it for either gender.

I think since the show's so popular that people are going to associate the name with the show.

There is a character called Addison...and another character whose last name is Grey.
Neither are male though.

I like the boys names. I knew a guy named Addison and we gave him a lot of crap for having a girls name.

It's funny that you've never watched it and you still like that name..because [call me random and weird for noticing this] the band Tegan and Sara [whom you are listening to] have songs on Grey's aaaaaaall the time!

I love coincidences lol.

I like Addison Grey and Anabel Sage.

I also like Gregory and Quinn, but the first for a boy, while the other is girl to me.

I like Grey as a middle name :) don't know where the custom started though. May I ask what inspired you?

I've done a little research, and most sources claim it refers to the color name, or in some cases it might mean "son of Gregory". Most say that as a person's name, it derives from old English meaning "gray haired".

But then the German name Griselda means "grey battle", and Grisel/Grisella mean "gray-haired". I assume the Gris- root stands for the "gray" part, as "gris" is "gray" in french ("grau" in german).
Might be interesting to understand what they meant with "gray battle" lol maybe it could add meaning to using Gray.
