I just got a job at a day care, taking care of nine 2 year olds in the afternoon. Here are their names. I bolded the ones I like. The names, not the kids ; )

Girls:

I like Jocelyn, and Ara's okay, but Emileigh is AWFUL. Seriously. Worst spelling I've ever seen. What's wrong with just plain Emily? Yes, it's popular, but I'd much rather have a popular name than one that looks like that. And Michaela is yet another name that I HATE when people bastardize it like that.

I really like Isaiah and Max. Luc is okay, too, and Reed isn't awful, but I really don't like Rylan. I much prefer just Ryan or Riley, but it looks like they combined the two.

Ara- hmm quite pretty. It doesn't look finished though. I prefer Aria.
Emileigh- Urgh vomits.
Mikayla- Again, vomits.
Jocelyn- Lovely.

Boys:
Reed- I prefer Reid for some reason. Reed is too much like Reed.
Rylan- Dylan, Ruan? make up your mind.
Luc- I like Luca & Lucas. But Luc is a bit star trekky? I think.. or looks unfinished.
Max- My brothers name, but I like it.
Isaiah- Don't care for.

thats my job too, exactly, lol! I had 8 kids but we sent four of them to preschool and just gained two. Now we only have six =)

It's in fact a very OLD name meaning 'from the rye land' traditionally spelled Ryland.
