Lillimaer. I can only guess this would be pronounced "Lily-mare" It's what my friend wanted to name his first child if it was a girl. Fortunately for the child, they had a boy (who they named Cayden, which is trendy and I don't really like it... but yeah)

I think Lillimaer would make a great name for a fantasy book character, but not for a real person who has to go through real life.

Also, what do you think of spelling Gwendolyn as Gwendolynne? I gave the latter name to a sim once, because I like to give them ridiculous and kr8tvye names. I happen to like that spelling (and the name) a lot, I think it adds an extra touch of... something, but it's also extra letters that aren't needed. If I ever name a child this (which is likely to happen someday at the moment) I'd probably go with the first spelling, just because it's easier and to save the kid some grief.

Gwendolyn is a totally acceptable name, although I think I prefer Guendaline.

Isn't Lillimaer Scandinavian or something? Just a thought, since I saw this little girl in a magazine once, she was called Lillemor, and I believe her mother was Norwegian.

The thing about Gwendolyn is, it's a long name to begin, why make it longer?

I mean, I like long names (8+ letters), but more than ten letters is probably too long.

i really hate the spell of gwendolyn. it just looks really weird and the extra n and e are totally unnecessary.

I've never heard it, so I thought "eh, maybe its ethnic" I googled it and absolutely nothing came up, which makes me think its fake, but it could be a different spelling

I don't know, They didn't ask my opinion in naming the kid, and he's already born, named, and almost a year old, so its not really my place to say "hey your kids name is trendy!"
