A friend of mine is pregnant with a little girl. The names she is considering are

Charlotte Ruby Rowe or (doesn't want this nicknamed)
Katherine Ruby Rowe (katie)

I really like Charlotte, and the doubble R's sound cute together.
Opinions??

I prefer just Charlotte Ruby to be honest. I think I just don't like Ruby and Rowe together.

I would say I like Katherine better, but if she is set on nicnaming it to Katie, I change my vote to Charlotte. I adore the name Katherine, and Kate is my absolute favourite name--I'd vote for that, then. But the name Katie annoys me, a lot, and it's nearly impossible to get rid of later in life, and a 45 year old woman named "Katie" really just is not my idea of classy (which is what Katherine is as a name). Charlotte is really pretty and it flows nicely with the last name, so my vote goes there.

my best friend growing up was katherine gray and her little sister was charlotte rose. i LOVE the name charlotte. and these days, the name katie is everywhere.
