Katherine - I could definitely go for this, although I'd probably spell it Kathryn. I'd call her Kate.
Etta - Not my style, but it's not horrible.
Cecily - definitely not my style
Cora - under normal circumstances, I'd probably like this name. But I knew a girl all through school who was disgusting and kind of a skank and she was named this.
Antonia - Not my style
Susie - I really hate the name Susan
Ellie - I LOVE the name Ellie. I plan on using Eliza for my 1st daughter and I'll probably either call her Ellie or Liza.
Joanna - Like it, but not my favorite. I prefer Johanna. I'd call her Joey.
Delia - I LOVE this name. I've been tossing around the idea of adding it to my list.
Cornelia - makes me think of Cornelius, and then, Harry Potter.
Stella - I like it, but it's not really my style
Anna - I like Annie better, but I could go for this. I'd probably use the full name Annelise, though.
Victoria - I like it, but it's not one of my favorites.
Lydia - I actually really love this name
Estella - again, not my style.


Boys
Dan - oddly enough, I love the name Danny, but I hate the name Dan. Which is why I'd never name my son Daniel. If I could guarantee no one would ever call him Dan, I'd be set.
Jack - I love this name, but it's too popular.
Isaiah - I love this one, too. I'd rather use Isaac, though, and they're too similar to use both.
Jim - I like James but I hate "Jim"
Simon - Like it, but it's not something I'd use
Andy - It's okay, but again, not something I'd use
Josh - Josh is one of my back-up names for if my partner doesn't like Sam and Ben, which are my two favorites. I could live with Josh.
Jon - I love this name, but it's my cousin's name. I prefer John anyway, though.
Jamie - I HATE this name. Boy or girl.
Zeke - My neighbor has a horse named Zeke, so I see it as an animal name.
Rod - I hate this name so much
Zack - it's okay, but not something I'd use
Eli - I prefer Elijah, but Eli's nice on it's own, too.
Levi - I love it, but I probably wouldn't use it
Ike - I hate this name, hahaha. It makes me think of Eisenhower. I'd use the name Isaac but he would never be called Ike

You've got pretty much my entire families name in this post - my name [Kate], my sisters name [Joanna], my brothers name [James] and if I was a boy I would have been called Josh!
Oh, and Jack is my all time favourite boys name!

In my experience isn't Jon normally short for Jonathan, and John a name in its own right?
