What do you think of the names Joely (Joel-lee) and Zoe for sisters? I love both names, but I'm afraid they may be too close. Do you have any middle name suggestions for the two of them? How do these two names sound with my favorite two girl names, Ada and Aurelia?

Hmmm, yeah, a bit too rhymey I think. How about Zoe and Joelle (joe-ELLE) instead? Ada and Aurelia are nice too.

I absolutely love the second pair. LOVE IT.

I think Joely might be too close...but what about names that have the same meaning? Eve and Zoe both mean "life," just in different origins. I like them because they're the same amount of letters as well, and I kind of like short names.

Joley-Like it. I would spell it the traditional way- "Jolie" to be more feminine and mean "pretty". It was on the charts breifly in the 70's, and jumped back on in 2000, growing in popularity since then (maybe a link to Angelina Jolie?)

Zoe- Hate it. It's a muppet.. like naming your kid Elmo. And it's overused.

Ada- Very pretty and old fashioned. It was popular in the 1800's, and is just coming back a tiny bit. Enough that it's not weird, but not enough that she would be likely to ever run into another Ada.

Aureila- Looks like "or-AY-lah". Is that right? If so, I'm not a big fan, but I do like "or-ee-ELL-ah"

I love the name Joely, but I think that it's too close to the name Zoe, because it kind of rhymes. I definitely adore Ada and Aurelia though!

I love the name Zoe, but not that spelling. I like it Zoey better. it just looks more complete. I also like the name Joely and Ada. but not aurelia.

I like them, but better with the spelling 'Jolie'. Joely sounds to masculine for my taste.

i like jolie better than loely, but it reminds me of the dolly parton song 'jolene' about a woman trying to steal another woman's man! lol
