I'd never think of reading it Nuh-rell, it's Nee-rell to me.
you should try spelling it Narelle, if that's what you're going for

I've never seen any substantial usage of this except on the Australian name lists (in quite a number of different spellings). Not really recently, though. So I just have to ask, where and how did it come to your attention?

My husband and I are both teachers. He teaches regular ed and I teach special ed. He comes across more students than I do. He has one student that is Indian and her name is Nirel. I liked it, but wanted something changed- like spelling so I chose Nirelle. My husband is Indian as well. I wanted something that could sound either way. I just liked the name Nirelle.

Near-elle is one way to pronounce Nirel... but I wanted something a little more feminine.

My husband is allergic to nuts therefore we don't have anything with nuts in the house. (Tree nuts that is). I have never had nutella...what does it taste like? Lol.
