A Collection of Interesting Names....

Hello!

I've been lurking for a while and thought I should contribute something. My name is Lori (because it was the seventies and my mom liked it); middle name Anne (after my great grandmother, Monnie Anne - who's husband was named Moxley:) If I had been a boy, I would be a Matthew Ryan (I have a cousin Ryan Matthew, strangely enough). Anyway, I work with kids  (10-17 yrs) and today I made a list of names...names that caught my attention for one reason or another. Wow. I think there was only a handful of names there that even halfway appealed to me. Ciara Marie, Roman James, Lorelei, Tara Ellen, Danielle Raye, Bryce Paul, Joe, Jasmine Anna, Sarah Page and Reno Preston are the only ones I can stand, but I don't think I'd name any of my kids one of those.

I loved that his name was just Joe....surrounded by the rest, he stood out. I've also seen Pumpkin as a middle name and had a girl named Peaches...she named her daughter Pineapples.

Yes....unfortunately their creativity seems to grow. "Oh, I'm having a baby. Let me give it a name that will really stand out on a busniess card!" Did you know that if you put a La Da Ja De or Sha in front of words or names it makes them brand new names?? Wednesday La First makes me laugh. Also had a kid named LaPorche.

Roman and Walker I liked; Marco was interesting to me paired with Angelo, Angel was funny to me because of the number of kids with a dirivitive of Demon for a name; Joe just stood out compared to everyone else:)
