Too weird. Even for me.
May. 18th, 2007 08:58 pmThere’s an ‘interesting names’ section in one of my Nan’s woman’s interest magazines that I like to read. It’s generally people writing in to say what strange names their grandchildren have, although they’re rarely room stopping. Then I came across this little gem:
we were leafing through the dictionary looking for an unusal name for our little girl, when we came across an entry that read ‘out of this world’. That’s what she is, and that’s what we called her
Yeah… they named their kid Alien.
Alien?

The teasing potential is just too painfully obvious, poor kid. Still I guess she could go by Allie.

But still. The UFO connection will always be made, I'm afraid.
