[identity profile] collide.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
Since my b/f and I are both hoping for a boy, I've been giving more thought on boy names.

I like Dominic. What do you guys think?

Suggestions on a fitting middle name? Dominic _______ Johnson

I only know 2 people with the name Dominic, one is 16 and the other is 2. It's a gorgeous name, but i dont think it's going to rise that much in popularity. Just seen your user info and noticed your from the UK, me too :) Which part? Im in the north east

the first middle name that popped into my head was "James" and it sounds good after Dominic but I think the double J sound could be a little intense.

I love the name Dominic and we actually considered it.. but with the last name Dunn we decided it was too much 'D'.

I think just about any middle name would fit nicely in there =)

I think the middle name needs an open vowel at the beginning since Dominic ends with a consonant. Maybe

Dominic Aaron Johnson
Dominic Alan Johnson
Dominic Austin Johnson (hmmm... too many n's with those three? I still think they flow well)

What about your maiden name or other family names that might work?

He's a pretty prolific writer. I always kinda liked the alliteration of his name. I don't think I'd name a baby after him, though. LOL.
