Hi, I just joined because thinking about baby names is clearly more fun than writing a paper. Babies are still a long way off in my future, but I'm just posting a few favs for fun. Let me know what you think and/or what middle names you think would work (either from the ones I've listed or ones you like that I haven't thought of). And on a side note, what are your thoughts on Sky/Skye (i.e. which spelling do you like better and for what gender?)
Girls:
Aster Belle
Aster Elizabeth
Aster Josephine
Aster Naomi
Aster Rae
Aster Veronica
Deirdre Belle
Deirdre Elizabeth [too hard to say at once because of the double vowel sound?]
Deirdre Josephine
Deirdre Naomi
Diana Elizabeth
Diana Elyse
Diana Lisette
Diana Monique
Naomi Alyssa
Naomi Elizabeth
Naomi Heather
Naomi Lisette
Naomi Olivia
Naomi Veronica
Boys:
Cole Frederick [Frederick is my brother's name]
Cole Phillip
Cole Thomas
Cole William
Gavin Christopher
Gavin Frederick
Gavin Phillip
Gavin Thomas
Jordan Christopher [disclaimer: I realize Jordan is SUPER popular right now for both genders, but I'm kind of in love with it. Oops!]
Jordan Frederick
Jordan Gregory
Jordan Matthew
Jordan Thomas
It's kind of obvious, but I like the more old-school names for middle names, particularly for the boys. Any opinions/suggestions are great. I won't get whiny if you don't like these; I'm just brainstorming for fun.
When I was in high school I vowed never to name my children Christopher, Joseph, Caitlin (or any spelling thereof), or Megan (ditto) because although they're great names, I knew a million of them. I slacked a little on Christopher because it makes such a strong middle name, but I'm not sure about the rest. Thoughts?
