i really love my name, katerina, but going to the doctor's, etc., everyone calls me 'katrina.' i don't understand how they can miss the 'e.' does it take even a fraction of a second longer to read an 'e'? it makes no sense to me.

I know, what is it with E's? My name's Caroline, and I'm always called Carolyn. Is it that hard to pronounce an E?

Anyway. I really like Madeleine, Scarlett, Landon, and Caleb. I think Lux would be better as a middle name.

I grew up with an Alexandra and all through school people always mispronounced her name as Alexandria. It got on my nerves so much and it wasn't even my name. I mean, they're adding a letter and a syllable. It's bad enough when people try to shorten your name because they're lazy, but why would you make a name more complicated?
