What do you all think of the name Ryan for a girl? Her last name would be West, and I think Ryan West is a real heartbreaker's name :o)

Also I was flipping through my baby name book and I found this one name I've never heard of and I really like it - Alette. It's latin and it means wing. Thought it was cool.

As of now the only name we've settled on is Leah but I'm still open for ideas.

Ryan West would indeed be a heartbreaker's name.
Only like it for a boy though.
Just think it would be really confusing for people not to know if someone is a girl or boy (and you can't exactly ask to clarify) based on name alone.

Alette is a nice name, and Leah is pretty.

I used to have a female friend named Ryan. I liked her, but, she had a lot of mental issues.

Ryan West is very pretty. And I've heard Ryan for girls before.

Leah is my name, and exactly how I spell it so I say go for it! :)

I've known some girls named Ryan, although I wouldn't pick it for my own kid... it's not unheard of.

Leah Alette would be really pretty, or Ryan Leah.

:)

i loved the name Ryan for a girl, spelled Rian...
well, then i had a son & the ONLY name we could agree on at all was Ryan. =\ i kind of wish i hadn't named him that, though, as it's becoming really popular for girls.

I've always liked Ryan but spelled Ryann (though reading through these comments Rian is pretty too)

It's funny to me to see all these suggestions of Rian as a feminization of Ryan. I know a guy, about 25, named Rian. We figure his parents shortened Brian - he won't tell us. :) I also went to school with a girl named Ryan - I wouldn't do it myself, but somehow it suited her personality. Probably had a lot to do with the way she was raised.

That happens all the time anyway anymore. :)

I had a friend when I was little named Ryan, she spelled it Ryann though.

I think Ryan West is an adorable name, and she will indeed, be a heartbreaker.

I also think it goes well with Alette, which I also Love!
